The title, "Arcadia" describes an idealized, picturesque wilderness of rustic innocence, peace, and simple quiet pleasure. Arcadia is another word for utopia and in this work I tried to show my idea of that and to create a sense of calm optimism for the viewer.
This paper collage was made using a map of Glacier National Park, notebook paper and embroidery thread. The use of notebook paper in my collage work has become a trademark for me. The flowers are stitched directly into the notebook paper.
It comes ready to hang in blue, solid wood frame that matches the lines of the notebook paper. The frame has shatterproof plexiglass protecting the work.
Dimensions: 16 inches x 20 Inches x .75 inches
This is a one of a kind, original piece of art and will not reproduced.
It is hand signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
